About the Harris-Bablitz-Sandstrom Reunion
Our History
Olive Kilpatrick (1888-1955) and David Harris (1878-1962) had 14 children.
At this reunion we'll be reuniting and celebrating the families of a few of their children (and their children...and their children...):
Margaret (Harris) Bablitz - 1921 - 2009
Violet (Harris) Sandstrom - 1931 - 1995
Robert Harvey Harris - 1924 - 1964
Here's the Details You Need to Know
- The reunion will start Friday June 21 and end on Sunday June 23, 2024.
- It will be held at David Bablitz's Cabin on the Pembina, known to many of us as Reinhold's. We'll send everyone a Ping of the location and put it on this website closer to the date.
- There is space for Campers/Trailers - but we do need to know how many units so we can park everyone.
- Bring your own lawn chairs & drinks.
- There will be two meals you can decide to join in for a fee (just to cover the cost of food) which will be a Saturday night dinner and Sunday morning breakfast - all other meals you need to bring your own food for (but you will have access to a BBQ grill and a fire. We'll let you know how much closer to the date when we've got a better idea of headcount and what we'll serve.
- If you must bring your dog, they must be kept on a leash.
- We'll have some actiivities you can join in on like fishing, camping games, outdoor afterdark movie. Bring your own games too if you like.
- There are fun things for the kids too....swing sets, sandbox and a trampoline.
- We have a Facebook Group set up to keep you in-the-loop. Link is on the bottom of this website.
- We also have a link to RSVP where you'll then provide your email & mobile number to us and we can both keep you up to date on everything and let you know how to pay for things (like dinner & breakfast).
